Oblasti naučnog interesovanja

Molekularna biologija, biohemija i fiziologija, sa posebnim osvrtom na redoks regulaciju fundamentalnih ćelijskih procesa (proliferacija, hiperplazija, angiogeneza, mitohondriogeneza) u patološkim i fiziološkim stanjima, kao i tokom prilagođavanja specifičnim uslovima sredine (hibernacija). Centralni interes je ispitivanje mehanizmima delovanja reaktivnih vrsti kiseonika i azota, sa fokusom istraživanja na redoks-senzitivne molekule i procese i redok senzitivne transkripcione faktore, posebno u pogledu mogućnosti modulacije redoks-statusa ćelija u terapeutske svrhe i lečenja ozbiljnih metaboličkih poremećaja, metaboličkog sindroma, gojaznosti, dijabetesa, kardiovaskularnih i neurodegenerativnih oboljenja i muškog steriliteta.
