Weekly: eight hours of lectures + one hour of study research work

Goals:

The student is introduced to the additional fine points of writing and publishing a scientific research paper. Other types of scientific work are also addressed: review scientific papers, book chapters, presentation of scientific results at scientific meetings. Knowledge of ethical principles that must be followed when creating a scientific publication is deepening.

Outcome:

Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to independently write a quality scientific publication.

  2. Preparation of additional (supporting) material of scientific research paper.
  3. Authorship, contribution to scientific research paper and acknowledgements.
  4. Key elements the reviewer look into a manuscript and the main reasons for manuscript rejecting.
  5. How to deal with a rejected manuscript.
  6. Publication of scientific papers in open access journals.
  7. Publishing misconduct, including plagiarism and copyright infringement.
  8. Types of scientific papers.
  9. Writing a Review Scientific Paper.
  10. Writing Chapters in Books.
  11. Writing a Ph.D. thessis.
  12. Presentation of scientific results at conferences.
