Goals: |
Introducing students to the basic mechanisms of biocatalysis and stabilization of biocatalysts by chemical modification and immobilization with the aim of applying them in non-aqueous media, organic syntheses, pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries, biosensors, biofuel cells, enzyme-based logic circuits and nanobiotechnology. |
Outcome: |
Enabling students to use biocatalysts in real conditions in industry and in laboratories within scientific research. |
