Goals:

The goal of this course is to help students acquire practical knowledge of laboratory techniques used for obtaining, isolation and purification of organic compounds and theoretical knowledge of basic chemical transformations of the classes of organic compounds.

Outcome:

After they have successfully completed the course, students should be able to independently carry out isolation, purification and synthesis of simple organic compounds with a limited number of functional groups.
