Gordana Gojgić-Cvijović received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from
Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade in 1998. She is principal
research fellow at Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy and
professor at Faculty of Chemistry, Belgrade at doctoral academic studies,
study program Biochemistry. Her research interests include microbial
biochemistry and biotechnology; production, characterization and
application of microbial bioactive products (enzymes, biosurfactants,
polysaccharides); development of new functional biobased materials;
biodegradation/biotransformation of organic pollutants by natural and
artificial microbial consortia and bioremediation. She is author of more
than 50 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals with total citations
521 by 472 documents (h-index: 11).
